Cameroon striker stays positive

Choupo-Moting - wants right state of mind from his team.

Cameroon international Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting believes his team should not read too much into the results of their World Cup warm-up matches.

The Germany-born 21-year-old striker scored in a 4-3 defeat by Serbia at the weekend - a match which followed a 3-1 loss to Portugal and before that draws against Slovakia and Georgia.

"The Lions are almost ready and we should not focus too much on last two outings," said Choupo-Moting.

"The most important thing is that we approach the World Cup in a better state of mind and with a lot of commitment."

The West Africans open the tournament against Japan next Monday, followed by a meeting with Denmark before they meet Group E favourites Holland.
