Hosts worried about Mexico

Motsimane - concerned.

South Africa assistant coach Pitso Mosimane is worried about Mexico's attacking approach ahead of their meeting in the World Cup opener this week.

The two kick off the global spectacle at Soccer City on Friday having met three times previously, with the visitors holding a 2-1 advantage.

Javier Aguirre's team have made it through the first round of the last four World Cups, making them a real threat for Bafana Bafana in a Group A that also features France and Uruguay.

Mosimane said: "It will be a big tough game, you know how they play.

"They play 3-4-3 and switch to 3-5-2 and they are very difficult to contain under those circumstances.

"Their system is confusing to their opponents and they are not afraid to throw men forward."
